The NBG StoryNorthern Beaches Gymnastics was established in 1990 by husband and wife team, Mark and Gai Forrest. Since its initial concept, the club has blossomed into one of Australia's premier sporting facilities, attracting over 1500 members.
|

In its humble beginnings, NBG began operations out of a school gymnasium, having to set up and pack up every time. Since then, the club has grown into a well-equipped facility, which attracts coaches and gymnasts from all over Sydney. NBG has always been proud of its tradition of excellence. The time and efforts of the team at NBG have enabled the club to achieve the status as one of Australia's top gymnastics clubs. NBG has been voted 'NSW Club of the Year' in every year from 1994 to 2000. In March, 2004, a new temporary gymnasiuim was opened giving the club expanded facilities until the move in April 2007 into the permanent quarters in the Pittwater Sports Centre. |
