FitNastics the fitness program with a gymnastics philosophy which everyone has been talking about. FitNastics has been developed in Northern Beaches Gymnastics with over 20 years of industry experience; it was designed by a fully qualified PD/H/PE teacher in conjunction with the industry’s best gymnastics coaches. Furthermore, FitNastics comes highly recommended by doctors and occupational therapists because of the wealth of benefits it provides to the participants. FitNastics not only increases strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness, it teaches children overall body management skills, which can help improve posture, balance, spatial awareness, and coordination.
Because FitNastics is something that every child needs, our programs accommodate to all ages and abilities. Each child which enters our program will have the opportunity to do a trial class or get skill tested to see which program they will fit comfortably into. From there, children will work towards achieving the program goals of the classes they are in under the instruction of supportive and highly trained coaches who are passionate about making sure each individual child is developing through the term while being a part of the amazing world of FitNastics! FitNastics is more than a catchy name, it is an enormous leap in the right direction for building healthy, active, and positive lifestyles for the program participants. |

i) Power Hour
Power Hour classes are full of energy and fun, it is a circuit style classes in which coaches motivate the children to push themselves to safe levels. This class helps children improve the 5 key components of fitness: muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and body composition while safely working under the guidelines of the F.I.T.T. (Frequency Intensity Time Type) principle. This class is for those children who want to be GYM FIT! Children must be at least 10 years old or enrolled in Gym Champs or Gym Masters classes. Power Hour is 60 minutes in duration.
