Mark Forrest (Head MAG Coach) Northern Beaches Gymnastics Club was founded by Mark and his wife Gai in 1990, when they realised a ne for a professional gymnastics school in the area Mark is our head MAG competition coach.

Gai Forrest (Kindy Gym Co-ordinator) Gai has been coaching gymnasticss for almost twenty-five years. Gai formerly coached competitive women's gymnastics but has always enjoyed the kindergym children so much that she has decided to just specialise in the area 0–5 yrs. Gai was NSW Kindergym co-ordinator for five years, and is still an active lecturer for early childhood courses. Gai is also a Level 2 WAG judge. |

Lu Ming (Head Coach) Ming has been with NBG for eight years, working with both our MAG and WAG programmes. Before commencing his position at NBG, he was working at the AIS with the team preparing for the Commonwealth Games and Pacific Alliance. In his time, Ming has produced eight state champions and three national champions. Ming is a former member of the Chinese world championship team and National team member in which he represented for nine years. Recently Ming took over the role at NBG as head coach, overseeing both our boys' and girls' programmes. He currently has twenty gymnasts in his programme from both MAG and WAG. Ming was voted 2002 Men's Elite Coach of the Year. |

Josh Holmes (Head WAG Coach) Josh is an ex level 10 gymnast with numerous State and Australian titles. Since retiring from the sport Josh has coached both MAG and WAG state and national champions in both levels and elite streams. Josh has also coached Australian Levels teams on three occasions and coached the 2005 level 10 National Champion. Josh was recently named the Australian WAG Levels 'Coach of the Year' for 2005. As well as his extensive coaching expertise, Josh is an FIG MAG judge and has represented Australia as a judge at five World Championships, the Olympic Games, as well as three Commonwealth Games. He is off to Arhus, Denmark to judge at World Championships in October 2006. Josh currently heads the level 7–10 WAG program, which is growing strength by strength under his direction. |
